There are so many cool reasons to go Hyper-V. Including your firewall. The problem is(was), it is not documented anywhere. Entering the 3rd month of successfully running an ISA Server 2006 inside Hyper-V while still maintaining complete security of the internal network including the host machine required just a little effort.

I have a theory. An average Joe's digital home must consist of at least three computers and one or more laptops. An average nerd's home on the other hand -- has to have at least 7 of those!
