An amateur video, “Extreme Coke and Mentos experiments” grossed over $30,000 and more than 10 million views before everybody started ripping this video off. It took less than a week for this video to become viral. The video was made by two guys from Maine who spent their own money to buy 100s of litres of Coke and dozens of Mentos packs. Free publicity for Mentos and Coke and kinda lame that everybody ripped off their video (at least in the beginning). Credit where its due:
