Patty Wagstaff,

How does one get 150+ bullet points noted down in head in a 1 hour class? Ask the FAA and the answer is “Eye Candy.” I must say I was pleasantly surprised by the quality, storyline and the delivery straight from the experts. Quite a contrast from my initial feeling  of

“Do we really have to do this?”

to

“Wow, can we go through it again? ”

FAA’s runway safety course really does drive the point(s) home. Here’s some of the eye candy if you’re interested.

*Drool* Dang, I ain't even allowed on 101. And this guy .... Someone's over at the UTC, flying in the wrong direction. RHV Tower, be advised ...    Was that for me? Am I the only one confused here? Beautiful scenery, awesome plane, but ... he does have the flaps all the way down doesn't he? Where can one fly a starship around beautiful snow, with almost no wind? Does he have carb heat on? Now that is something. Runways need those snow machiens too :-) Wow What a job profile. Working amidst such a scenery. Are civilians really allowed here?Did you say experimental? Patty in her Aerobatic craftKnowing where you are, where you're going and how you're going there. Yeah right.I am at D2. yeah.Just cleared of the active. Oh wait, was that?

Disclaimer: I did not take these “awesome” pictures. Much thanks to the FAA and others whom I don’t even know.

It might be a long wait sir. Besides, would you really want to fly with a "just turned pilot?" big grin Rumor has it that birds stop feeding their little ones when I'm up in the air.

Knowing where you are, where you're going and how you're going there.
Hilarious. My feelings exactly. how the hell one is supposed to think about all that when oriented like that?

A little too technical. More explanation of the picture/comments needed for people like me to understand sad

BTW, I had been to a similar "Windmill farm" (if i can call it that) somewhere near LA and all I could see for about 5 min on the freeway was just rows and rows of windmills... pretty amazing.
