Will Strohl has an opinion about everything. I used to read his blog regularly. Then he came to California. And started acting weird. Like playing foosball and stuff and not meeting up and spoiling the parties and all! What? No meet-up yet? Hey, so I’ll write exact opposite of what he writes , with my own opinionated opinion . Like it or not, here are top ten reasons not to ever use the portals to install an additional website on a DNN installation.

Ever pondered the meaning of life while hurtling down at 138 miles per hour? Meaning or Life? Back when I started at Yahoo, I was one of the young ones, labeled “firebrand Yahoo,” “trouble-monger,” “how-did-he-do-that-guy” and the likes. Then came the likes of Bipin , Nandu Yathin and others who so unceremoniously stripped me off my “angry-young-man” trophies. Its been 9 years since then? Whoa! I do not feel like going to work. No, I’m just not going to show up for work today. Maybe not tomorrow as well. You know why? Its not about me, its all about You!

Generating Strong, Unique and memorizable passwords

I’ve had the thousandth aha moment. I found someone’s password. Again! Having seen this cockiness of “it can’t happen to me” for such a long time; Time and again proves just one of the two things – Either people believe they are invincible and do not really care or they just do not know how to generate strong random passwords that can be easily remembered. I’d give my secret recipe for generating passwords; Passwords that can be written in full public view, will never need to be written down, can be remembered for as long as you’re alive (and mentally sound), cannot be broken by your friends or relatives and passwords that are unique to every place you need them. For the record, my Bank of the West password is “Amazing Amazing West of 2005!” Go figure!

Is PowerDNN Hosting a Rip-Off? Maybe not.

I’ve never hosted with PowerDNN. I have no idea why their services are so -- “Expensive.” I also hate spammers. And scammers. So tell me people; what is it that I have missed about PowerDNN? Is it a ripoff? What’s with all the TVs and Giveaways spamming my DNN search tabs on twitter? Are people really stupid? Or is it just me? Updated.

Granted, I have been distracted. Well, I continue to be distracted. In between all the hullabaloo surrounding kids, tuitions fees, mortgage payments, vacation expenses, office cameos, “programming must be done(s),” keeping my Xbox from screaming ‘wuss’ at me or avoiding those awesome kids across the next blog who think I could star as “The old man (in) and the sea,” I surely have to be hard pressed to keep myself buzzed. Buzzed as in adrenaline buzzed, you know -- the kind that stirs butterflies in the stomach, the kind that makes the world around seem so inconsequential, the kind that makes you fall in love. Truly, madly, deeply in “love.”
